I have worked at the national level in Australian Government Department of Health for over 25 years. This included national programs in cancer and palliative care, mental health, rural health, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health, and primary care.  I began my career in the non-government sector working for the Consumers’ Health Forum amongst other national organisations.  I have a Batchelor of Science degree and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the Australian National University.  I joined Palliative Care Australia in 2021 to work on national quality improvement standards and other policy work.
